Chris Knight and I did a lot of research into Washington DC for our book 'Before the Pyramids'.  During a protracted stay in the city I was astounded at the number of goddess statues to be seen in all parts of the city - not just in the historic centre but at just about every major intersection. In a way I wasn't too surprised because I already knew that at the heart of Freemasonry is a feminine religious imperative and of course Washington DC was created primarily by Freemasons.

When Before the Pyramids was finished I looked again at Washington DC and began to see things I hadn't taken too much notice of previously. In particular my attention was drawn to the great number of zodiac wheels to be seen across the city - most of which showed a definite preference for the zodiac sign of Virgo. When I looked more closely I could see that the whole city had been deliberately planned and engineered so that the zodiac sign of Virgo and in particular the Autumn Equinox around September 21st would be ultra significant.

So once again I delved into Freemasonry and turned up much more regarding the Great Goddess than had been obvious to me previously. But not all of Washington DC's creators were Freemasons, and I began to recognise a deliberate imperative that went far beyond simple Freemasonry. Washington DC is a living temple to a deity that has not been worshipped openly for many centuries. What is more everything points of something of tremendous importace buried right at the heart of Washington DC. . It's shocking - but the implications for our common future cannot be ignorred!
